Men's Golf Finishes 10th at Milligan Tournament

Johnson City, TN- The Columbia College Men's Golf team continued the fall season on Monday and Tuesday as the Koalas competed against 9 other schools at the East Tennessee Collegiate, hosted by Milligan College at Johnson City Country Club in Johnson City, TN. This par 72 course plays 6501 yards.

Columbia finished in a tie for 8th after shooting a 308 in round one but only had three of the required four players finish in round two to finish 10th with a 547 score.

Sophomore Blake Vaughn was the top finisher for the Koalas, coming in 3rd place shooting rounds of 1 under par 71 and 1 over 73 for an even par 144.

Freshman Ryan Lord then placed 30th with rounds of 80 and 77, for a 157 and 13 over par. Junior Jacob Fink also finished 40th overall with rounds of 75 and 89 for a 164 and 20 over par.

The Koalas will be back in action on Oct. 16-17 when they return home to host the AAC Fall Preview at Windermere Club in Blythewood, SC.
