Post Season Awards Announced

After a long volleyball season the team now has a chance to rest and prepare for off season workouts. Although the win loss record doesn't reflect it, the team statistically performed better. Since last year all of the offensive and defensive numbers have increased in a positive way. The total number of team kills has increased by 231 with an increase of 35% of total attacks. And on the defensive side the reception percentage increased by 10% to reach 88%. The total number of digs almost doubled the amount that the team had last year with a total of 1,745 digs. 

Although the team had improvements all over the court, they were still unable to make the post season tournament but did have a number of athletes receive Academic All- Conference honors.

In order to receive this award the athlete had to be a sophomore or higher with a 3.25 GPA. The following athletes were named Academic All-Conference for volleyball for the 2019-2020 season: Sophomore Cassidy Jacobs, Senior Lauren Walters, Junior Thalia Watkins, Sophomore Becca Lorimer, and Senior Hunter LaFrage.
