Bio

Glen Crawford enters his first year as the Director of Athletics at Columbia College after serving as head Softball coach at Lander University in Greenwood, SC, for seven seasons.

Crawford, who is no stranger to the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC), earned his bachelor's degree from Union College (Ky.) and spent eight years at the helm of the Reinhardt University (Ga.) Softball program.

During his tenure at Reinhardt, Crawford led the Eagles to five NAIA National Tournament appearances, six-straight AAC Championships, and claimed AAC Coach of the Year honors three times.

He hopes to guide Columbia College Athletics to national prominence through judicious budgetary utilization, effective fundraising strategies, competitive recruiting efforts, and a positive impact on student-athlete and fan experiences.

Crawford and his wife Julie have two daughters, Haylie and Riley.
