Hite Finishes 3rd at East Tennessee Collegiate

Johnson City, Tenn. – Sophomore Dillon Hite finished third out of 66 competitors as the Columbia College men's golf team finished 10th at the East Tennessee Collegiate in Johnson City, Tenn.

Hite shot a 70 in round one and 71 in round two to finish with a 141, three under Par.

Blake Vaughn was the next finisher for Columbia College, tied for 26th with a score of 150 (76-74).  Brandon Griffin and Jacob Fink were tied, shooting a combined 163.

Griffin shot 73 on day one and 90 on day two, while Fink shot 85 on day one and 78 on day two.

DaShawn Thomas rounded out the top five for the Koalas, shooting a 201 over the two-day competition.

Columbia College will close out its Fall play at the AAC Men's Fall Preview, Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 17 and 18.
