Hite Highlights Impressive Outing From Both Golf Programs

Gainesville, GA- Columbia Golf hit the links on Monday and Tuesday in Georgia, competing in the Brenau Chattahoochee Collegiate Tournament.

As a team, the Men finished in fifth of eight teams while the Women, who competed as individuals, all saw top-50 finishes.

Sophomore Dillon Hite headlined the Koalas' performance finishing in a tie for first place by shooting a two-day total of 151. Hite, unfortunately, fell in a play-off for the overall medalist.

Senior Brandon Griffin shot a two-day total of 166 to finish in a tie for 19th, while Jacob Fink and Blake Vaughn tied for 36th with a two-day 174.

On the women's side, Senior Maddy Key was the top finisher for the Koalas at 18th with a two-day 171. Lindsey Hoile and Abigayle Johnson each finished in the top-50.

The two teams will return to action on March 20 and 21 at the Sandhills Championship, hosted at the Longleaf Golf Club in Southern Pines, NC.
