Dayton, TN – The Columbia College men's soccer team fell to Bryan, 4-0, in an Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) road contest.
Columbia College drops to 0-5-1 overall and 0-4-0 in the AAC. Bryan goes to 2-3-2 overall and 2-0-1 in the AAC.
Columbia College's defense was strong late in the second half. After allowing two early-half goals (61:49, 62:30), the Koalas were solid for the remainder of the game, holding Bryan scoreless for the final 27-plus minutes.
Bryan used a goal in the 17th minute and one off a Penalty kick in the 37th minute to take a 2-0 half-time lead.
Goalkeeper Austin Gunnels was solid for the Koalas in the net, recording seven saves against 11 shots on goals.
Breon Riley had the only two shots, one shot-on-goal, for Columbia College.
Stephan Moreira scored two of the four goals for Bryan.
Columbia College will host St. Andrews, Tuesday, Sept. 27, in an AAC contest.
