Koala Men's Tennis Upset Belmont Abbey

COLUMBIA, S.C. - The Columbia College men's tennis team upset the Div. II Crusaders of Belmont Abbey College 6-1 at home Wednesday in their final match of the regular season.

The Koalas now improve to 8-9 on the year and will next prepare for the AAC Tournament next Thursday at 2 PM from Chattanooga, Tenn.

"I'm super proud of our guys," commented head coach Mark Carnes. "We played with great energy and grit from the first to last point. Under tough windy conditions, we found a way to battle through it and finished off the regular season strong as we look forward to the AAC conference tournament next week."
