Koalas Post Top-10 Finishes at Newberry College/Hub City Invite

The Columbia College men's track and field team had a solid showing at the Newberry College/Hub City Invite on April 8.

The Koalas posted Top-10 finishes in nine events, four on the track and five in the field.

Leading the way on the track was Richard Parker-Boatwright. Parker-Boatwright finished eighth in the 200-meters with a time of 24.33 and ninth in the 110-hurdles with a time of 18.10.

Gavin Rice continued to pace the Koalas in the field. Rice finished eighth in the hammer throw and discus, throwing 35.99 and 32.36 meters, respectively. He also finished 11th in the shot put (10.47 meters).
