Robbins Leads Koala Trio at Charleston Southern
Charleston, SC (09-04-21) – Robert Robbins ran a 22:11 to lead the Columbia College (SC) Trio in the CU Buccaneer Invite hosted by Charleston Southern last Saturday (Sept. 4).
It was the Inaugural meet for the Koala men's team. Columbia College began sponsoring men's sports this fall.
The 22:11 will go down in the record books as the first-ever time in Columbia College men's cross-country history.
Robbins was followed closely by Patrick Timmerman, who clocked a 22:16 in the 6k race. Rounding out the trio was Joseph Kennedy finishing in a time of 30:31 in the first collegiate meet of his career.
Columbia College will have 13 days off before heading to Converse University on Saturday, Sept. 18.
