Koalas Get Swept By KCU Knights

In game one of the double header, Columbia College fell behind early and couldn't come back in an 18-2 loss to Kentucky Christian University on Tuesday. Kentucky Christian University took the lead early in the first inning and added 12 more runs in the 4th. The Koalas struggled to contain the high-powered offense of Kentucky Christian University , giving up 18 runs. 

Columbia College launched one home run on the day. Alexus Jennings went yard in the fourth inning, bringing in Taylor Hannah and herself. Taylor Hannah, Maddie Hearn, Madison Keefer, and Jennings all had one hit in the first game.

In game 2 of the double header, although the Koalas had more hits (9-4) it still was not enough to defeat the Knights. The game ended with a score of 4-2. 

Jenna Heath got the start at the mound. She went six innings allowing 4 runs, and four hits. 

The Koalas will be back home on March 7th as they face Milligan College. The first game is scheduled to start at 1:00pm.
