Double Double By Johnson Still Not Enough to Stop Bulldogs

The one constant that the Koalas can count on game in and game out, comes in the form of a Sophomore guard who goes by the name Denijah Johnson.

Although the team lost 80-61 last night to the Union Bulldogs, there was a light at the end of the tunnel. Johnson ended the game with 19 pts, 11 rebounds, 3 assists, 3 steals and 1 block. Recording her first double-double of the season. Denijah has had a constant impact on the team, and their success at both ends of the floor. With 5 games uner her belt this season, the Sophomore from Jacksonville, NC is averaging 12.6 points per game along with 7.6 rebounds which are both team leading numbers.

Other contributors from last nights game were Sherrill, Mohammed, Varn, Williams, Morgan, Hawes, and Weyer.

Headed into Saturdays game agaist Tennessee Wesleyan at 12 pm, the Koalas look to end this losing streak before going into the Thanksgiving break.
