Columbia, SC (01-11-22) – Kentucky Christian University (KCU) outscored Columbia College (SC) 31-15 in the third quarter as the Knights defeated the Koalas, 93-67, in an Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) contest in Columbia.
The loss drops Columbia College to 2-11 overall and 2-10 in the AAC. The Knights improves to 8-6 overall and 5-4 in the AAC with the win.
The Koalas will return to action Thursday, Jan. 13 when they travel to Milligan, Tenn. to take on the Buffaloes of Milligan University.
Koala Quick Hits:
- Carnasia Wells had a team high 28 points including five three-pointers to lead the way for the Koalas.
- Jordan Morgan had a solid performance, scoring 15 points with eight rebounds, six assists and two steals.
- Dynasia Jackson finished the game with 10 points, seven rebounds and four assists.
Team Notes:
- Columbia College shot 32.1 percent from the field, 31.3 percent from behind the arc and connected on 12-of-16 free-throws for 75 percent.
