Columbia, S.C. – Aa'Breah Keitt recorded a double-double, 12 points-14 rebounds, as the Columbia College women's basketball team fell to Bryan, 76-53, in its 2022-23 season and Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) opener.
The Koalas had three players to finish with double-digits as Shakyra Harley scored a team-high 13, and Carnasia Wells scored 10 points.
Bryan was led in the contest by Samantha Russell, who scored a game-high 24 points. Destiny Kassner recorded a double-double, 12 points-11 rebounds for Bryan. It was also the season-opener for the Lady Lions.
Columbia College will travel to Gainesville, Ga. Tuesday, Oct. 8, to face Brenau in an AAC contest. The Koalas will return home for their next two contests to face Kentucky Christian and Point on November 12 and 19, respectively.
