Golf Short Handed At AAC Fall Preview

With a strong start to the season (2nd Place Finish) at the St. Andrews invite last week the Koalas were looking to carry that momentum into the AAC Fall Preview, which was hosted by Brenau College. The competition was 2 rounds of golf with a par of 72 and 5,830 total yardage.

Unfortunately for the Koalas they were down a player and had no chance of placing higher than 13th. Alivia Waynick was the highest finisher for Columbia College with a tie for 44th place. She shot a 96 in the first round and came back with a 87 for the second and final round. Freshman Maddy Key shot +47 for the whole tournament and finished tied for 55th. Daisy Conley and Mikaya Thomas rounded out the Koala golf team with a 67th and 68th place finish respectively.

The golf teams next competition will be held at Tennesse Wesleyan for the TWU Fall Classic to be held on October 28th and 29th.
