Koalas Show Promise at Converse Spring Invite

The Columbia College Koalas women's golf team kicked-off the Spring Season at the Converse Spring Invite, hosted by The Carolina had got the unique opportunity to play one of the courses that will be used in the 2022 Korn Ferry Tour's BMW Charity Pro-Am Tournament.
Despite rough conditions, including 35 mph gusting winds, Maddy Key managed to finish with the 90, the lowest score on day one for the Koalas.
As the day two conditions so did Key's score. She improved her score by four shots on day two, posting an 86 for a two-day total of 176, which placed tied for 52nd in the overall in the field. Lindsey Hoile made a tremendous comeback on day two firing a round of 80 for a two-day total of 177 to place 55th overall in the tournament.
The Koalas are back in action on March 21st and 22nd in Southern Pines, NC at The Sandhills Invitational played at Longleaf Country Club.
