Hoile Leads Koala Women’s Golf Trio at Flyers Fall Invitational

Southern Pines, NC (Sept. 12-13) – Lindsey Hoile shot a 165 to lead the Columbia College Women's Golf trio in its 2022-23 season opener.  The two-day Flyers Fall Invitational was played Tuesday-Wednesday, Sept. 12-13, at the Longleaf Golf & Family Club.

Hoile shot an 83 on day one and bettered her total by one, 82, on day two for her two-day total.

Koalas joining Hoile in the field of 16 was Sydney Amerson, who shot 189 over the two days to finish 7th.  On day two, Amerson bettered her score by 25 strokes to finish day two with an 82.

Rounding up the three competitors for Columbia College was Abigayle Johnson.

The Koalas will be back in action Monday-Tuesday, Sept. 26-27, at the East Tennessee Collegiate at Johnson City Country Club in Johnson City, Tenn.
