Daniels and Carrier Lead The AAC

Although the Koalas lost their game this past weekend against the Brenau Tigers (4-1), it wasn't all bad news that came out of Saturday's competition. Seniors Charlotte Daniels and Courtney Carrier, both from Lexington, SC, are currently leading the Appalachian Athletic Conference in two different categories. Daniels is leading the AAC in goals scored with a total of 4, averaging 1 per game. Carrier is leading the AAC in assists per game with 1 as well. Carrier is also ranked #4 in NAIA Division I for assists per game, while the entire team is ranked #10 in the same category with 3.5.

The season is still young with an overall record of 2-2 and a conference record of 0-1. The Koalas will host Bluefield College on Wednesday, September 18th at 6 pm and will follow up with a home game against a new AAC opponent, Kentucky Christian, at 3 pm on the following Saturday.
