Koala Swim Sign Skylar Bernesser

The Koalas are proud to announce the signing of Skylar Bernesser for the 2020-2021 swim season. 

Skylar Bernesser joins the Columbia College family coming from Tega Cay, SC. Skylar swam for Fort Mill High school throughout her high school swimming career. This past year Skylar placed top 10 in her individual 100 Breastroke event and was a member of the 200 and 400 Freestyle Relay Team that medaled at the State Championship.

Coach Turk spoke about Skylar saying, "Any coach would be very lucky to have a swimmer like Skylar on their team. She is very versatile, mature and competitive. In addition to her skill level, her positive attitude, and respectful manners will take her to the top. We are very happy and excited to have Skylar with us next year."

With her abilities in the water and leadership skills, the team will be looking to Skylar to lead the team and compete at a high level in the coming years to follow. Congratulations to Skylar and welcome.
