Koalas Take Down SAU

The Koala swim took to the pool this past Saturday and dominated against the St.Andrews Knights. 

Although they were down 2 sprinters the 200 freestyle relay was able to post another national "A" standard qualifying time.

Coming back from an injury Haley Stewart returned to compete in the 50 and 100 freestyle. She was able to post season-best times and win both of those events. Also swimming a season best was Arielle Prescott who swam in the 500 freestyle and impproved on her overall time by 20 seconds. When asked about the performances from Saturday, Coach Turk said "We put in a lot of work, in and out of the pool. Our team dynamic is really strong right now and we will need that to continue improving throughout the season."

The next swim meet will be Saturday the 26th at 12 pm, which will also be Senior day for the Koalas.
