Lady Koala Tennis Shuts Out Mary Baldwin
STAUNTON, VA - The Columbia College women's tennis team shut out Div. III Mary Baldwin 9-0 on the road in their season opener on Sept. 16.
WOMEN'S SINGLES:
Helena Jokanovic took care of business, representing Columbia College for the first time by winning her match 6-0, 6-0.
Mariane Lima and Kseniia Krupniakova picked up victories by going 6-0, 6-1, while Aniya Sims, Joye Tate, and Vienne Geren collected wins in their matches.
WOMEN'S DOUBLES:
The duo of Krupniakova and Jokanovic started their season with an 8-2 win, while Sims and Lima won 8-0. The combo of Tate and Geren also collected a win, 8-1.
UP NEXT:
Both programs will enjoy some time off to regroup before they compete at the Coker Invitational on October 6th-8th.
