Koalas 3-0 Morris College

The Koalas have managed to string together back to back wins after last nights performance. With a 3 sets to 0 victory over the Morris College Hornets the Koalas look to carry this momentum into the weekend as they take on conference opponent Bluefield who currently has a record of 1-6.

Sophomore Brianna King led the Koalas again with 15 kills. The next closest was freshman Zoe Jackson with 6 kills and 4 blocks, as well as Iyceiss Drayton with 5 kills. Sophomore Becca Lorimer led the team in assists with 19 and Shalyn Goodloe had 19 digs. Other contributors offensively were Emily Lotts, Lauren Walters, Dori Chin, Kinsley Atkins and also Zahria Thomas who recorded 3 Aces.

The team will take on Bluefield at home Saturday morning starting at 11 am.
