Koalas Capture First Conference Win of the Season

In a must win game for the Koalas, the ladies were able to take down rival Allen University in a 5 set match. Led by sophomore Brianna King who had 16 kills (a career high) along with Freshman Zoe Jackson who had 7 kills. After last nights win the Koalas find themselves in a 3 way tie with Allen and Brenau, all with 1 conference victory. 

Other scorers were Allison Friend and Becca Lorimer with 6 kills, Jalyn Pace and Emily Lotts with 4, and Cassidy Jacobs and Iycessis Drayton with 2 kills each. Lorimer also lead the team with 24 assists. 

The next opponent will be Morris College which will be played at home with a start time of 6:30pm. Then next conference game will be on Saturday at home against Bluefield and that will start at 11 am.
