Gainesville, GA – The Columbia College women's volleyball team closed its three-game road swing Tuesday (Sept. 20) with a 3-0 loss to Brenau. The Koalas fall to 0-10 overall and 0-5 in the AAC. Brenau improves its season record to 6-9 overall and 4-3 in the AAC.
The Koalas attack was led by Zoe Jackson and Jenae Bygrave, who had six and five kills, respectively. Bygrave was also solid at the net defensively, adding three blocks to her stat line.
Columbia College finished the game with 25 kills, 30 digs, and eight total blocks.
Brenau was led offensively by Mary Ellen Enright, who had a game-high 11 kills.
The Koalas will return home for the next four matches beginning this Friday, Sept. 23, when they host Point in a 6:30 p.m. Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) contest. After Friday's game, Columbia College will host Truett McConnell (Sept. 27), Montreat (Sept. 30), and Milligan (Oct. 1).
