Koala Tennis Picks Up Momentum at Coker Invitational

HARTSVILLE, SC- Columbia College Men's and Women's Tennis hit the road over the weekend to compete at the Coker Invitational on Saturday and Sunday.

During the two days of competition, the Koalas competed against two other schools in a compass draw format.

Freshman Jonah Haller picked up two singles wins on the Men's Side, continuing an impressive start to his career on the courts for the Koalas.

Helena Jokanovic and Mariane Lima collected two doubles wins, while Aniya Sims and Kseniia Krupniakova picked up close doubles wins, 7-5. Jokanovic also earned two hard-fought singles wins.

Head Coach Mark Carnes on the weekend, "I'm really proud of the effort and energy we brought all weekend."

The Koalas will take on Brevard next, with the Men competing on the 21 and the Women on the 29.
