Nakia Johnson Named WinWon Men's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week

Nakia Johnson pulled down 19 defensive rebounds and blocked 8 shots last week, earning him the WinWon Men's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week. The award is based on his performance for the week of Jan. 13-19.

  • Posted a double-double with 12 points and 12 rebounds in an 86-78 win over Kentucky Christian helping the Koalas to a 10-9 record so far.
  • This is his second weekly honor of the season.
