Nakia Johnson Named "WinWon" Men's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week for 3rd Time

Nakia Johnson pulled down 20 defensive rebounds and blocked 6 shots last week, earning him the WinWon Men's Basketball Defensive Player of the Week.

The award is based on his performance for the week of Jan. 20-26.

  • Averaged 12 points and 11.5 rebounds per game and 3.0 blocks/game to help Columbia go 1-1 on the week including a huge upset win over Reinhardt 95-89.
  • Recorded two double-doubles as CC improved to 11-10 overall.
  • This is his third weekly honor of the season.
