Men's Golf Picked to Finish 12th in AAC

A tight race is expected in the hunt for the 2023-24 Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Men's Golf championship, according to the AAC Coaches' Preseason Poll. The poll was voted on by the men's golf coaches of the AAC.

Truett McConnell and Reinhardt tied for the top spot with 159 points. Truett McConnell garnered seven of the 12 first-place votes, while Reinhardt collected four first-place votes. Milligan, Bryan, and Tennessee Wesleyan round out the top five with Tennessee Wesleyan receiving the remaining first-place vote. Columbia was picked to come in 12th out of 14 schools ahead of KCU and Union and behind rivals such as St. Andrews (7th), CIU (8th), and Montreat (11th).

The AAC Direct Qualifying Tournament is set for April 22-23 at Barnsley Gardens Resort in Adairsville, Ga.
