Koalas Sweep Singles, Split Doubles Against Pfeiffer

BELMONT, NC- Columbia College Men's Tennis hit the road over the weekend, heading north to NCAA Division II Belmont Abbey for their annual Invitational.

The Koalas got the fall season started in the right direction against Pfeiffer, with three Koalas winning their matches. Liam Barry, a preseason name to watch, took care of business in singles play, winning his matches 6-1, 6-0. Jonah Haller and Waldo Bosch also earned single wins; Bosch was a 2023 All-AAC Second Team performer and earned a spot on the All-Freshman team.

In doubles action, the Koalas split with the team of Barry / Haller falling 6-3, while Bosch and Tiaan Jacobs won their match 6-4.

The Men's team will return to action next Sunday, September 10, when they travel to Mary Baldwin.
