GAINESVILLE, FL - Columbia College men's indoor track and field senior Dorde Racic became an All-American on Friday as he set a new school record in the 3000m Race Walk Finals with a time of 12:54 to place 5th out of 12 racewalkers at the NAIA Indoor Nationals in Gainesville, Fla.

Racic becomes the first Male All-American in Columbia College School history. He also earned 4 team points for the Koalas who are in 23rd place as a team.

Racic's prelim time in his heat was 13:36 edging out a Grand View walker by one second to win his heat on Thursday.

Racic is coming off a conference tournament record win in the Race Walk two weeks ago with a winning time of 12:58 in the 3000m finals.

Conference Triple Jump Champion, sophomore Mackenzie Pringle, then began her championship quest on Saturday morning and qualified for the finals with her best mark of 11.97 meters (39 feet). Pringle could not top her mark in the finals and settled for 7th place to become an All-American. She was also an All-American in the outdoor triple jump last season placing 4th.

The winning jump was 12.3 meters as Pringle was just 0.4 meters off the top mark among the 24 qualifiers.
