Women Claim Third, Men Take Seventh at AAC Championship

KNOXVILLE, TN- After a thrilling Friday morning of competing at the AAC Championships, the Columbia College men's Cross Country team claimed seventh place out of 13 schools. Freshman Cayden Chance paced the Koala Men's team in the 8K with a 29th-place finish in 26 minutes flat, good enough to land him on the All-Freshman team. 

Sophomore Kayden Reeder was then right behind in 35th palce in 26:10 while junior Dorde Racic was 47th in 27:09. Fellow junior Patrick Timmerman was 50th in 27:26 while freshman Harold Nolan was then 54th in 27:37.

Also competing for the Koala men were freshman Xzavier Lacefield comin gin 74th out of 117 runners in 29:03 while freshman Evan McLeod and sophomore Kristian Sanchez were 78th and 79th in 29:23 and 29:25. Sophomore Damion Polite finished 82nd in 29:44 while sophomore Austin Major, Jr. was 89th in 30:36
