Softball's Branham Honored with Savory Award

Paige Branham

The 2024-2025 Savory Award Winner... softball senior pitcher, Paige Branham!

Branham, a native of Hephzibah, GA, is majoring in exercise science and is excited to lead her Lady Koalas next semester when softball season's first pitch is thrown in early February.

The Savory Award, presented during Senior Chapel, is given each fall in memory of Dr. Jerry Savory, a long-time faculty member and academic leader at Columbia College who is greatly admired by students, faculty, and staff.

Branham was nominated by the Junior and Senior classes and elected by the senior class. This award honors the Columbia College senior who most exemplifies the ideals that Dr. Savory so greatly represented: commitment to personal integrity and academic excellence, ethical leadership, spiritual values, and the well-being of the Columbia College Community.
