GRAYSON, KY- After a challenging outing on Saturday, Columbia College Women's Basketball collected a hard-earned win on Tuesday night, holding off the Knights of Kentucky Christian, 92-85.
THE BASICS:
The Koalas picked up their third win in the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC); with the victory, they now stand at 4-3 overall and 3-3 inside the AAC. The Knights are still searching for their first victory of the season.
HOW IT HAPPENED:
Four Koalas eclipsed double-digits in the win. Tysonia Lowe led the way, shooting 9-13 from the field to pour in 21 points; she also recorded seven rebounds and three assists.
Freshman standout Anaya Muhammad once again recorded a nice outing, pouring in 15 points while going a perfect six for six from the free throw line. Leah Page (14) joined her freshman teammate in double figures while thousand-point scorer Carnasia Wells netted 13 points.
