BLUEFIELD, VA- The Columbia College Women's Golf team went on the road on Monday and Tuesday for their first tournament of the year. The Lady Koalas competed at the Fincastle Intercollegiate, hosted by Bluefield University (Va.). The two-day event was played at Mountainous Terrain, a par 70, 6714-yard course.

The Lady Koalas tied for 4th place overall among 7 schools while they saw senior Lindsey Hoile finish in a tie for third and be named to The All-Tournament Team. She shot rounds of 87 and 80 for a 167.

Third-place Hoile finished with a two-day total of 167 (+27), just two strokes off second place. Freshman Kaylee Brisco then shot rounds of 113 and 106 for a 219 and 79 over par.

The women will next return home and compete at the AAC Fall Preview Tournament in Blythewood, SC on Oct. 23-24.
