Hoile again Leads Lady Koala Golf at AAC Fall Preview

BLYTHEWOOD, S.C. - The Columbia College women's golf team competed in the AAC Fall Preview Tournament on Oct. 23-24 at the Windermere GC outside of Columbia.  the Lady Koalas came away with a tie for 9th place finish out of 11 schools.

Leading the women was senior Lindsey Hoile as she shot a quality round one score of 77 to sit in 8th place. However, she fell back to the pack some in Round two on Tuesday as she struggled to a 90 for a 25-over 167 score and a 30th place finish out of 52 golfers.

Also competing for the Koalas as individuals were freshman Kaylee Brisco and sophomore Abigayle Johnson who placed 48th and 49th respectively. Brisco shot rounds of 106 and 102 while Johnson shot scores of 107 and 113.

Truett-McConnell won the tournament. The Ladies will next be in action from April 15-16 at the AAC Spring Direct Qualifier in Acworth, GA at Governors Towne Club.
