Women's Golf Opens Season at Bluefield

BLUEFIELD, Va. - The Columbia College women's golf team opened their season this week at the Fincastle Intercollegiate hosted by AAC foe Bluefield University.

The women finished in 6th place led by junior Abigayle Johnson who placed 24th individually at 70-over par after shooting rounds of 104 and 106. Sophomore teammate Kaylee Brisco then finished in a tie for 27th at 90 over par with rounds of 111 and 119.

Div. II Mars Hill won the tournament followed by Montreat, Roane St., Bluefield and Bryan.
