Lady Koala Golf Competes at Sandhills

SOUTHERN PINES, N.C. - The Columbia College women's golf team competed at the SCC Flyers Fall Invitational this week at the Longleaf GC in Southern Pines, NC at Sandhills CC.

Sophomore Kaylee Brisco and junior Abigayle Johnson competed for the Lady Koalas coming in 14th and 15th place respectively in the overall field.

Brisco shot a 109 in round one on Monday and improved by three shots to shoot a 106 on Tuesday to finish at 71 over par. Johnson shot rounds of 106 and 111 to finish 73 over par in the 5-team field. Also competing were Methodist Univ., USC-Sumter, Sandhills CC, and GA Military College.

The women will next be competing in the AAC Fall Championship in Acworth, GA on Oct. 21-22.
