ATHENS, TN - The Columbia College women's soccer team completed their regular season on Monday afternoon falling 3-0 on the road at Tennessee Wesleyan.
The Koalas finished their AAC season 7-6 and will now be the #7 seed in the upcoming conference tournament that starts Wednesday. Columbia will host a first round game beginning at 5:00 from Younts Stadium against #10 Brenau University.
TWU got their first goal in the 39th minute of play before adding their second goal in the 2nd half in the 66th minute. A final goal in the 89th minute completed the scoring for the Bulldogs as CC was outshot 21-4 but just 5-3 in the second half.
Sophomore keeper Teagan Eisenring made 10 saves on 13 shots on goal. Columbia is 10-7 on the season overall while second seeded TWU is 12-1-2.
