COLUMBIA, SC- The Columbia College Volleyball team welcomed cross-town rival Columbia International University to Porter Gymnasium on Thursday Night, the home opener for the Koalas.
The now 9-0 CIU Rams took all three sets convincingly, 25-6, 25-17, 25-9, earning their first Appalachian Athletic Conference win of 2023.
With the loss, the Koalas slipped to 2-1 on the young season and 0-1 in AAC play.
Columbia will return to action on Saturday when they travel to Reinhardt. Game time is set for 2 PM.
