Women's Cross-Country Team Claim Top Spot at Bob Jones Invite led by Kravitz' title

GREENVILLE, SC- Both Columbia College Cross-Country programs picked up big wins on Saturday at the Bob Jones University 6K Invite in Greenville.

The Women won their race by a full six seconds with a team total time of 2:06 with 25 points besting the host school, Bob Jones University by 15 points. Johnson & Wales was third followed by Savannah St., Boyce College and Welch College.

Sophomore Angeline Kravitz was the first place finisher in the meet with a time of 23:58, while freshman teammates Addison Martin (3rd) and Carly Fuel (5th) ran times of 24:28 and 24:48. Junior Izabelle Trefts was 8th in 26:11 while sophomore Mina Shull (10th) joined her in the top ten.

Shull ran a time of 26:39 while freshman Ameerah King also placed 14th in 28:34.

Columbia will now prepare for the Appalachian Athletic Conference Championships.
